コンセプト

eico wadaは、自らを「デリシャスアーティスト」と称しています。
浮世絵を独自の視点で展開し、風刺や性をテーマに現代風にアレンジした作品を制作しています。作品にはアクリルガッシュが使用されており、鮮やかな色彩が印象的です。1996年から作家活動を開始し、毎年、グループ展やアートフェアに出展している。また、海外での展示も積極的に行っています。
近年は花札をモチーフに、エロスをテーマにした社会風刺や女性心理の意味も含めて描いています。


Eico Wada call herself “delicious artist”.
She develops ukiyo-e from a unique perspective and creates artworks that are arranged in a contemporary style using the theme of satire and sex. Herartworks used acrylic gouache and the vivid colors are impressive. Her artist activity began in 1996 and has been exhibited at group exhibitions and artfairs every year. Also, actively exhibiting overseas.
In recent years, she uses the motif of Hanafuda, including the meaning of social satire and feminine psychology created by the theme of eros.
