コンセプト

闇に咲く花人は成長するにつれ、誰しも内面に欠落を抱えるようになる。完璧を目指すことはできないし、苦しみや悲しみに直面することも多い。私はいつも、本当の自分と向き合うことを避けるために防衛機制に頼ってきた。私の作品は表面的にはまぶしく見えるが、私の人生で経験したさまざまな体験に根ざしている。ハンジ（韓国の伝統的な紙）に何層にも重ねたムク（韓国の伝統的な墨）の上に咲く鮮やかなケシの花は、私たちの人生とよく似ている。その複雑な線と鮮やかな色彩は、個々の悲しみを体現している。人はそれぞれ、誰とも分かち合えない物語や経験に出会う。闇が深まれば深まるほど、華やかな感情の線はより鮮明になる。ケシの花言葉のように、私はこの花を通して慰めや安らぎを伝えたいと思う。時には白昼夢に安らぎを求め、人生の厳しい現実から一瞬逃避する。また、大切な人たちと愛と安らぎを分かち合いながら、周囲を観察することもある。花が咲き、枯れていくサイクルの中で、色あせた日々が過ぎ去っていく中で、花は暗闇の中でも美しく咲き続けることを発見する。花は咲き続ける。
