Gelatin silver print, black and white film specification, mounted on museum board
A symbolic arrangement of gloriosa buds, a simple composition, but simple enough to test the viewer's imagination.
The two buds looked as if they were having a conversation.
The artist intended to create 100% of the work, but for the viewer it was only 60%, and he wanted the viewer to use his imagination to make the remaining 40% 100%.
The black-and-white film was shot at high sensitivity and developed in a high-temperature developing solution.
When I enlarged the film, I sprayed the film with high-temperature developer to create the shading I wanted.
