This original watercolor painting is a part of my experience of traveling through the Caucasus mountains. It was like another world, bright and ringing. In this world, you can feel free and breathe full breasts. Traditional livestock breeding is still present in these areas. You can find a herd of sheep, goats or cows grazing freely in the mountains.
We’re used to treating animals differently. Animals play different roles in our lives: food, dangerous enemies, toys, weapons, companions, friends and even family members. We have different feelings for them: fear, indifference, hatred, love and admiration. But knowing where to draw the line is what matters most, and I regret that I haven’t thought about it in years. How do you value a living being? I've been looking for answers.
I want this to be a picture of the value of life... Farm animals give us food at the cost of their lives, they deserve a happy life and to be cared for.
