Description

I have always been impressed by fishermen, whether professional or amateur. They give themselves to their favorite business regardless of the weather, harsh conditions or danger. So this Italian fisherman, standing on slippery rocks near the raging sea and not paying attention to tourists, completely immersed himself in the fishing process. I think the process itself is important for him, and the catch is just a nice bonus.
The painting is made with professional watercolor paints on French cotton paper. Like any other painting, the painting should be protected from direct sunlight.

Concept

Watercolor for me is an opportunity to express impressions of what I saw in travels, to convey my feelings from the diversity and uniqueness of the surrounding world. With the help of a brush, I can show the barely noticeable variability of the atmosphere, air, light. Everything that can be instantly imprinted in memory, but so difficult to explain in words. I prefer the "wet" technique, when the paint is applied to paper soaked with plenty of water. I like that watercolor paints themselves are involved in the creation of the picture. Sometimes, on a wet paper sheet, the image looks fuzzy, a little blurry, like a memory or a dream. I try to pick up on the hints that watercolor gives me by interacting with the damp surface of the paper and develop our dialogue with it without turning it into an argument. Bring those emotions and energy that inspire me to work.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
