“For me, I have spent years inquiring into the essential bond we have with animals and when I began painting animals, my inspiration came, in part, from a sense of wonderment in nature – inspired vision I have seen since childhood and that still informs my imagery today. For me, My visual of painting aim to illuminate, particularly in the future, the discussions that surround the relationships between human, animals and gods – to make an inquiry into how these relationships occupy anthropocentric space within the contexts of ethics, history, culture, science, and philosophy.”
