Wings are being perceived by us as a pair, just as hands, feet, or ears. They simply cannot exist without one another.
I had thought exactly the same way until I read the beautiful parable of a wing. I’d better not give you an excerpt of it here. Instead, I put this parable right at the picture’s perimeter. If you wish, you can just read it. So may do everyone who sees this picture.
I would like to dedicate this painting to all disabled people, those who, in spite of their physical condition, remain active and try to do their best to be helpful to society.
